I never thought it before, but now I wonder if our "troubled" poster is Mirador, a conspiracy under every rock If it were not for the fact DR1 was the place we find comedy in the posters personalities, we could care less if it existed Any "war" between us and DR 1 is in your mind, for us to wage war with a board of thousands of members would be like the "Mouse that roared," but then again maybe we have a doomsday device :-)
This blog started out as "fun," a parody of the silliness of some posters, a few people have managed to drag it down to an anti S*** forum, an anti DR1 forum etc, is is neither and guess it is time to stop publishing any posts relating to those issues, so don't be surprised if you enter a comment regarding this subject and it gets rejected. if you want to fight and argue, stay at your internet home, not here
It is our fault for letting school children play, time to get back to our original agenda, fun, parody, jokes, laughter....You take yourself way too seriously
Granted, it likely will be dead for a while until we think of something new, but to continue with your message of hate and discontent take all the joy out of this Maybe we should start a forum from this blog so it would be easier to post and reply, but is doubtful any of you "lions" would post where you have to disclose even screen name name

Why is it right for you to play the "parody" game with DR1 members but can't take DR1 members using your blog to make fun of you?.
Fair is fair, isn't it?.
You call them idiots but at the same time you expect them to take whatever you throw at them and not say anything.

Just to clarify
Not once that I can recall (I may put my foot in my mouth and I'm sure I will be corrected if so) did anyone say the posters of DR1 were idiots. We simply said one "idiot" that continually talks about his "DR1 family, his DR1 gang, his DR1 thousands etc" is an idiot and gave HIM the name DR1 idiot, not the posters of DR1, not DR1. This one single person is lacking in social and mental skills, that is the idiot to which we refer

If we can establish a way to have a forum, maybe you can make you remarks and jabs

Nah, I don't know you, but the 'tone' of your writing suggests several things. And I'm laughing as I write this, because I can just hear the screeches of protest from the Paranoid Anonymous... who, at all costs, MUST prove this blog to have an Evil Purpose and a Single Source.
Maybe I'm wrong, but you come across as a straight thinker, a straight shooter, an advocate of some kewl ideas like fairplay and and especially a lover of humor in many forms. All anyone has to do is read through the evolution of your blog entries to see what happened here: you were stormed by trolls with a very particular agenda. How dare you even suggest other povs! So you, too, must be branded Public Enemy #1.
Aside from all that, humor is difficult to write, isn't it? Consistently, I mean. I'm interested in this aspect of your blog... you've got some very funny stuff here. Too bad some is being missed ... but as is typical, the flamewar holy order of internet interaction screams loudest.
(Pretty sad, too, given world events at the moment... the microcosm here pretty much offers up our best hopes for the species. I wish I were an Alien, best I can do is be a Newfie. :)
I have a crazy idea as to who you might be. If so, the wild and hysterical accusations flying around about your 'real' purpose and us-against-them mentality toward DR1ers is quite a good joke. If not... who knows? I'm a DR1 member in fine standing myself :), and wouldn't consider wasting my time throwing shit at the website. It's unquestionably a great resource.
I find your reasons for starting this blog easy to take at face value, I sense no real malice toward anyone, although you have done a good job highlighting the inanity and insanity of some anonymous ones who are their own worst advertising (agreed :). No wonder they're so hellbent to SHUT YOU UP.
It appears to me your blog began from your interest in humor. Possibly an idea to lighten up some of the stupidity floating around at the moment? And, perhaps as an aside, to offer a different 'voice' within the comments section to counter the worst of the anonymity-fest elsewhere.
I have not and will not speak to anonymous trolls. Not worth my time. I don't read let alone respond. End of story. Hell, I hope I've got you right. lol
I'm nearly finished a children's novel, but I slowed to a crawl this past month --helping a friend renovate an apt. It's a full time job at the moment. I'm antsy to get back to my story! I follow certain disciplines when writing fiction... stay away from message boards and ongoing interaction... threads, discussions. All of that only distracts.
I'll not make the leap over to the free-for-all forum, but will be happy to comment on your future blog entries. Hey, don't worry about quantity either.. Rome wasn't built in a day, and an idea like the Hollywood entries might be best doled out a couple at a time.
If I don't get back to my book soon, I may also try some sketches, ie. am thinking dialog mostly, for some off-beat and unlikely DR related people interactions. Haven't quite got the format... but I quite liked Steve Martin's play about the imaginary meeting of Einstein and Pablo Picasso.
What's that, you say? We ain't got no Einsteins here. Too true. hee. How about some Alien interviews? hmmmm, I'm off on an Alien tangent tonight.
But hey, thanks, I just got some writing in. Hope you don't mind me hanging out in your place.
